Supportive Housing
At OFP, we take a person-centred approach to supportive housing. Here’s how we ensure each resident receives the care and support they need:
-
Individualized Planning: We work closely with individuals and their families to create tailored support plans that reflect their unique needs and goals.
-
24/7 Care: Our supported living program provides round-the-clock care in homes designed to meet the diverse needs of our residents. OFP operates these homes, and referrals are made through Developmental Services Ontario.
-
Holistic Support: Our trained staff go beyond assisting with basic daily living activities. We encourage active participation, skill-building, and personal growth, fostering a sense of community and relationships.

We believe that a good life looks different for everyone, and our mission is to support residents in achieving their vision of a fulfilling life.

Respite Services
Our overnight, out-of-home respite services provide short-term care for youth and adults aged 14 and up. This service offers caregivers a much-needed break while ensuring their loved ones are cared for in a safe and comfortable environment.

-
Personalized Care: Tailored support for daily living, medication management, and other needs.
-
Trained Caregivers: 24/7 assistance from experienced staff.
-
Fully Funded: Youth (14-17) referrals can be made by emailing our Program Supervisor (click here). We currently have open spots in our Youth Respite stream. Adult (18+) referrals are made through Developmental Services Ontario. If you'd like to purchase in-home respite for an adult, please refer to our community support section above for more information.

We believe that caregivers deserve the opportunity to recharge, and our respite services are here to provide compassionate, high-quality support.
